my ducky one 2 mini isn't typing or anything

the cable that it came with plugs in and everything looks ok, it lights up and stuff but I go to type or actually use the keyboard and nothing happens, I've tried hard resetting it with both windows keys, I've tried the dip switches on the back, I've tried using a different cable, I've tried pushing it in as far as possible nothing seems to work, I don't understand
