Aram mayhem is so fun but ive got some opinions and questions

Hi guys, ive been playing aram mayhem a lot recently. Ive basically not played anything else except aram mayhem for the past few weeks and ive seen a few observations that i want to know if its just me or does everyone experience it.

Firstly, i dont really seem to be able to get my main champ like at all. I main Rek'sai and i know that aram randomizes the champions you get, but ive barely been able to actually play my main. Out of the at least 50 games of mayhem if played until now, ive only gotten her like 1 or 2 times while almost everygame game has that god forsaken mel or smolder or vayne. How does the game decide which champs are given?

Secondly, is it just me or am i just unable to swap to certain champs in the swap pool even though ive played them before. I recently played a match of Senna in mayhem but in another recent game, even though senna was in the swap pool, i couldnt switch to her at all. How does the swapping work?

Thirdly, i feel like the gamemode has gotten a lot more toxic and flammy as of late. Like for example, enemies would type in all chat telling their teammates not to end the game and to give us hope while their clearly stomping us. Like why are people so toxic in this for fun mode? If you dont wanna end the game early which i completely understand, just tell your teammates in team chat. Why type in all chat and add on the part of giving us false hope? Are they seriously powertripping on a for fun gamemode?

Finally, i feel like most games basically boil down to augment diff. Skill is definitely still a factor in who wins or lose, but most of the time, the team with the better augments win. Like how am i meant to fight dual wield, light it up, shadow runner, vampirism vayne while im icathias fall, guilty pleasure, veil of warding, soul eater galio? I die before i can even CC. I know im not always gonna be the one being countered and ive definitely had games where i was the one godrolling and the randomness is a part of what makes mayhem so fun, but i feel like most games are way too one sided. Like who wins or lose is basically decided by augments alone.
