Interview during Surgery recovery
I have been job hunting for a while, and I have just gotten an interview TOMORROW with a company I’d love to work for. Unfortunately, right now I am about 2 weeks into a 6-week surgery recovery. I am not bed-bound or anything, and I am getting better everyday but I have to take things easy for the next few weeks. I kinda applied assuming I wouldn’t actually get anywhere because I never hear back from anywhere. Anyways, I am doing the interview as luckily it's online, but I am worried that if all goes well, I could get asked on the call if I am available to begin ASAP. How do I approach this? And even if it doesn't get mentioned over the call, but I still get an offer, when should I mention the fact that I am recovering from surgery? I can probably start working in like a week or two, but I don't know. Have I shot myself in the foot??
Of course, I have been unemployed for so long, and the one time I am just not really able to work for a short period, I seem to get sort of somewhere.
