Is online betting actually worse than stock options trading?

People say online betting is gambling and dangerous.

But then the same people trade weekly stock options with 10x leverage and call it “investing.”

Like i can cut my loss mid match and create profit both sides if match is going my way anytime… is it not similar to investing because im gaining percentage over my investment
