Ahmedabad founders — how are you building real networking circles?

Ask Ahmedabad

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

Most networking events end up being surface-level — quick intros, business cards exchanged, and nothing really happens after.

But real growth usually comes from smaller, intentional rooms. Conversations where people are actually building something and open to collaboration.

A few of us are experimenting with a more structured format in Ahmedabad — focused on:

  • Guided introductions (so conversations aren’t random)
  • Frameworks on building relationships that convert into real opportunities
  • A collaboration round where people openly share what they’re building

It’s part of a format that has been tested in other cities, and we’re trying to see how it resonates locally.

I’m genuinely curious:

• What do you feel is missing in Ahmedabad’s networking ecosystem?
• Do smaller, curated rooms work better than large open meetups?
• What would make you attend a networking event?

If anyone here is building something in Ahmedabad and wants to exchange thoughts on this, feel free to comment or DM.

Trying to contribute meaningfully to the local ecosystem rather than just hosting another “event.”

Would love to hear perspectives.
