I saw the surgeon with may talk on YouTube regarding not needing opiates post op: an update!

So I went to the appt mostly because another Dr I’m seeing swears by him, and mostly that he won’t suggest a fusion unless I truly need it. So the good news is after examining me he feels another neck surgery would not give me any benefit. Essentially if I had chosen a fusion over a disc replacement a year ago, I would be in the same place now. And the good news atleast is I do not have any concerning neurological symptoms. I feel like I can atleast use this data with pain management to say hey I sought the opinions and they said tell pain management to keep trying.
