Game will only launch if the actual exe is clicked but wont launch using a shortcut. How does that work

The game is RE4 Remake from Fitgirl and for some reason it will only launch when I click on the actual exe file of the game and not the Shortcut. I checked and the shortcut does have admin privileges on so Im not sure why it wont launch the game
