I have IPhone 11 Pro Max since 2021 and I am completely fine with it.

This is kind of a vent post.

Apple announced new products and immediately we see posts on here, on r/macbookair, r/iphone, etc. saying “should i upgrade to the new /device/ when i have the /one year older device/? oh btw my own device is completely fine but i just wanted to know if the newer one is better” ??

I was literally also wondering about buying the newer devices when I myself have M2 Macbook Air and IPhone 11 PM since maybe a year after their release. I use them everyday, I am a master’s degree student and I love photography so I use my devices a lot. And they serve me well. I haven’t even changed my phone’s battery yet cuz there is still no warning on battery page on settings.

I have seen people in the comments talking about how 60hz screen in 2026 is absolute travesty. I want to tell you that doesn’t matter. Most people don’t even need these features that comes with the newer devices. You don’t have to buy the new IPhone every year. There is nothing wrong with having the same phone for years if it does the job.

Spend your money on more meaningful things, like maybe invest the money or book a better hotel on your holiday.

This post probably will be deleted but I still wanted to put my words out there for people like me who almost bought into this latest release haze.
