Hey r/iosapps,

I wanted to share a passion project I recently launched called CarbSync.

I do carb cycling and track my macros daily, but I really just wanted a simple app that opens fast, lets me log my food, and gets out of the way. More importantly, I wanted something completely offline—I didn't want to create another account or have my diet data synced to some random server.

So, I built CarbSync in my spare time.

Here is what it focuses on:

Zero Cloud & 100% Local: No accounts, no sign-ups. Your data stays strictly on your iPhone.

Speed: A clean, dark-mode HUD designed so you can log your macros in just a few seconds.

Carb Cycling Built-in: It easily lets you set and switch between High, Medium, and Low carb days to match your workout routine.

It’s just hit version 1.0, and it is completely free to download and use (no ads, no hidden subscriptions).

Since I'm a solo developer, getting honest feedback from a community like this is incredibly valuable. If you track your macros or are looking for a cleaner alternative to the big apps, I’d be honored if you gave it a try.

Please let me know what you think, what features you feel are missing, or if you spot any bugs! I'll be hanging out in the comments. Thanks!

I built a privacy-first, offline macro tracker for carb cycling. It’s currently free with no ads
