Train from Salzburg to Milan

Hi, I am going to be travelling in the summer and am currently looking at options for getting from Salzburg to Milan. Is there a convenient night train or would a stop on route be more recommended? Please let me know if anyone has done this before with some advice.

I have looked around a bit and there are a few different suggestions online but I would love for someone who has done this route before to leave their opinions
