“Tomorrow’s preorder will be the last one!” - Why do so many people make this claim?

From the many posts yesterday about the preorder opening tomorrow, it seems that a large number of people believe that this will be last sale for the AP.

Do those claims have any truth? Or just FOMO?

Tomorrow I will be ordering my very first AP and was hoping in the future to get into perhaps one of their color waves as well if they make something nice.

Are they really ready to stop selling their biggest money maker?
