How much weightage/recognition do American MBAs have in India?

I'm considering doing an MBA in the US by applying this fall for a '27 intake. By the time I'll graduate it will be mid '29.

I have been hearing from some people that the US flip-flops between governments and even the job market always bounces back after a slump. And that is actually true. But in case that doesn't happen by '29, I would have to come back to India with an MBA from an American university.

So I would like to know how much weightage do American universities, particularly the T30, have in the Indian job market? Or how recognized are they here? Will the brand name be enough or will I need to put in extra effort to make myself seen? And if so how much effort? Also, is the case different for M7 or T15?
