Current desktop vs new Laptop

Hi,

In a previous post I asked some advice about a Legion 5 laptop.

I decided I want to go for the Legion 5 with the Ryzen 7 AI 350, RTX 5070 and 32GB of RAM.

My current desktop PC is running the following specs:

Ryzen 5 3600

GTX 1660 Super

16GB RAM

I'm mainly game on a 4k monitor and use a lot of upscaling and low settings in games.

This might be a stupid question, but I'm wondering if the Legion 5 will provide me enough of an upgrade to be worth it.

The CPU doesn't seem to be a huge improvement and the VRAM difference is only 2GB.

Again, I might be wrong completely.

What are your thoughts on this? Will I be blown away or do I just need to upgrade my graphics card and be done with it?
