Visa
Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of applying for a Swiss Visa D in order to get married with Swiss Fiancee and join my fiancée in Switzerland. Our relationship is genuine and we are both committed to starting our life together there.
Here is what I have already completed and submitted:
- Apartment contract: We have a signed rental agreement showing our plan to live together.
- Financial guarantee: My fiancée has a stable job and submitted proof of her employment and income.
- Criminal record: I obtained my criminal record from Serbia, legalized it with apostille, and had it officially translated.
- Travel proof: My fiancée even submitted her flight ticket showing she visited me, as evidence of our ongoing relationship.
- All required documents: Everything has been organized, legalized, and submitted to the authorities.
I am now waiting for the canton’s approval and then the embassy’s call. The waiting period is very stressful, and my biggest fear is that after weeks of waiting they could reject me, even though our case is genuine.
Has anyone here had a similar experience? Did you face rejection even after submitting all the correct documents? Or was it just a matter of waiting until the visa was approved?
Any insight or shared experiences would really help me during this stressful time.
Thank you!
