Anyone else spend almost the whole week 24/7 inside the house because they don't have any reason to go out?
Went through a stretch last year where I genuinely couldn't remember the last time I'd left the house for something that wasn't an errand. No one to go out with, and forcing solo trips just felt like a humiliation ritual. And when I checked instagram and saw people my age who seemed to have it so much better i'd just die inside
Something that actually kinda shifted things for me was just going outside just for sunset to take pics. Like that was it. just 10mins, each day. I'd always kinda liked photography so I started sharing the pics as an anon on this app called sunspot that matches you with randoms doing the same thing.
Some days the sunset pics would be bangers, but honestly just seeing photos of something actually pretty instead of wannabe influencers and people I know travelling the world certainly took my mind off things.
What about you guys? How'd you manage to stop rotting when things got bad?
