How often do contracted authors make those $60 required to trigger MGS?

My novel just entered its first MGS month, and I couldn't help but wonder how many authors manage to trigger MGS.

Is it pretty much a guarantee if you're consistently uploading two chapters a day and your genre is popular?

Or is it a rarity?

What should I do if my novel can't even trigger MGS?
