AnkiConnect on Android suddenly blocked by Google Play Protect

Hi everyone,

up until now I have used AnkiDroid with AnkiConnect Android without any issues. Today I noticed the whole app is gone. I tried reinstalling it via F-Droid from the Izzy repro, but the install is being blocked by Google Play Protect.

What is happening?
