When the hospital gives up… is it truly the end?

In this deeply moving story, we share a real-life testimony of illness, repentance, karma, and transformation inspired by the book “Returned by the Hospital, Saved by the Buddha’s Dharma.”

A young man diagnosed with severe liver disease faces surgery with only a small chance of survival. Under the compassionate guidance of Venerable TPT from Chùa PQ, he chooses to live meaningfully — practicing charity, vegetarianism, life release, and Buddhist study.

What happens next surprises even the doctors.
This is not a story of spectacle.

It is a quiet story about karma, merit, repentance, and faith.
A reminder that when the heart transforms, destiny may transform too.

On Free as the Wind, we explore spiritual journeys through calm, cinematic storytelling — where wind moves through curtains, incense rises slowly, and life continues without dramatic endings.

May this story bring you reflection, peace, and hope.
