How would you feel if the writers made Javier the rat instead?

For one, Micah being the rat was too predictable. Second, it makes John's coldness towards Javier in RDR1 make sense. I find it hard to believe after all Javier has done for John in RDR2, he would be so cold towards him in RDR1.
