Let's save the environment and buy deadstock yarn so we can crochet without running out of cash... Those balls of yarn you see here came on cones like the white one top left. I sat down and rolled 100% merino wool into two balls of each colour so I could crochet with double thread on my size 5 hook, but most of this wool is perfect for size 2,5-3 I think (purple hook in pic is size 2). I'm currently working on a giganting blanket, so let's just say those balls were three times the size when they were new.

Where do we get it? Depends on where you live and if they ship to you. I don't know if Garnspecialisten from Denmark ships to Sweden yet, but I know they ship to Norway.

In the States I saw several deadstock yarn outsales while googling, but I'm pretty sure I also saw a cosy youtube-video about the Old Mill Yarn in Michigan, so I'll link them for you here: [https://oldmillyarn.info/shop/ols/all?sortOption=descend\_by\_popularity](https://oldmillyarn.info/shop/ols/all?sortOption=descend_by_popularity)

Happy hunting!
