| Scripts not working

Hi all. New to ricing and I'm trying to install the rofi power menu script but no matter what I do it just doesn't work at all. I tried copying the script to my /usr/local/bin, /home/.local/bin (set it as $PATH too in bashrc) but none of them work when I run the commands. Any idea of what's happening here? Honestly driving me insane since I've spent two hours without any progress.

I use linux mint, i3wm, picom and polybar.
