What's holding back Solana DEX UX from being truly seamless?
Solana's got the speed and the fees figured out. Sub-second finality, fractions of a cent per tx. But I still find myself doing the same 3-click dance every time I swap:
- Check multiple DEXes for best price
- Hope my tx doesn't get sandwiched
- Watch the quote change between clicking and confirming
The new privacy features from wallets are cool, but they're solving the symptom (address exposure) not the core issue - you're still manually routing through AMMs that quote you one thing and fill you another.
Been reading about intent-based execution where you just declare what you want and let solvers compete to fill it. In theory that handles routing AND MEV protection in one step. Anyone tried systems like that on Solana yet? Curious how the execution quality compares to just going through Jupiter.
