**Four Sellers • Four Leathers • Four Price Points**

I’ve accumulated four different 24/24s over time — all from different sources — and thought it would be helpful to compare them strictly from a bag quality perspective.

I did not interact with all sellers directly for these specific bags (some were rehomes), so I won’t be reviewing communication here. I *have* purchased directly from HMS and Peter in the past for other bags and found both pleasant to work with. One thing I especially appreciate about both Peter and HMS is that they offer reship insurance — if a bag is lost in transit, they will remake it. XM does not offer this, and he also does not ship himself, which adds additional cost.

I’ve never ordered directly from HM Phoenix but have heard strong things about overall quality.

# 🖤 Noir (Black)

**Source:** Rehome

**Seller:** HM Phoenix

**Leather:** Volupto & Swift

**Hardware:** Palladium

**Price Paid:** 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

This was by far the most expensive of the four — and I felt it. I genuinely cringed spending that much compared to the others.

The leather is very, very delicate. It feels luxurious, but after just one wear I could already see a small mark forming on the front. It’s beautiful, but definitely not carefree. This is not the bag I’d grab for daily errands.

# 🤍 Beton (White)

**Source:** Direct from XM

**Leather:** Evercolor

**Hardware:** Palladium

**Price Paid:** 9️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

**Delivery:** In-stock bag, arrived 5 days after purchase

This one felt expensive compared to Peter’s pricing — but the quality difference is noticeable.

The Evercolor from XM is significantly better than Peter’s Evercolor (more on that below). The leather feels richer, more refined, and overall more “auth-like” in structure and finish.

Ironically, I originally bought this to use for a craft project and never went through with it. After receiving it, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Maybe it was the universe telling me not to destroy a perfectly good bag.

# 🤎 Gold (Dark Tan with Contrast Stitching)

**Source:** Rehome

**Seller:** HMS Mode

**Leather:** Clemence & Swift

**Hardware:** Gold

**Price Paid:** 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

This was my first 24/24 — and the one that sold me on the style completely.

It is my most used bag out of everything I own — including my Birkins and Halzans. That says a lot.

The leather combination makes it durable and practical, and the contrast stitching adds that classic look. This one feels like a true workhorse without sacrificing aesthetics.

# 🧡 Trench (Light Brown)

**Source:** Rehome

**Seller:** Peter

**Leather:** Evercolor

**Hardware:** Palladium

**Price Paid:** 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

This was an impulse rehome purchase.

I’ve used her a few times, and I do plan to keep her — but you can absolutely tell the difference between Peter’s Evercolor and XM’s Evercolor. XM’s is noticeably better in quality and feel.

At the end of the day, it’s a Peter bag — and while it’s good for the price, there’s better out there. Once you’ve handled higher-tier versions, the differences become clearer.

# What I Love About the 24/24

The versatility is unmatched. You can wear her multiple ways, which makes her adaptable depending on the outfit or occasion.

An iPhone 16 fits perfectly in the back pocket, which means I rarely even need to open the main compartment.

The main lock can feel a little stiff at times, but I actually see that as a plus when traveling. If I’m out shopping, I can tuck small purchases inside the locked compartment. From a security standpoint, I think this bag is fantastic — a pickpocket would genuinely struggle to get into the main compartment unnoticed.

# Overall Thoughts

I wouldn’t say I have an untrained eye — I just can’t really play “spot the difference” at a microscopic level. What I *do* notice is leather quality. That’s where differences stand out to me the most.

Price doesn’t always equal practicality.

Higher cost can mean better refinement — but it can also mean more delicacy.

For daily use? HMS wins for wearability.

For leather refinement? XM’s Evercolor impressed me most.

For luxury feel but high maintenance? HM Phoenix takes that spot.

For entry-level and solid value? Peter holds his place — just not top tier.

I’d love to hear what others notice in terms of construction or shape accuracy — especially from those who can really “spot the difference.”
