Am I Wrong on planning to leave?
Hi, I’m 26M working as a manager in an IT company for almost 3 years. We specialize in reporting data and handling escalations. Nationwide engineers yung mina-manage ko and mataas + very detailed yung expectations na kailangan kong i-deliver to clients.
Part of my role includes managing KPIs, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring targets are met, and handling escalations kapag may issues. I also communicate directly with clients regarding reports and performance.
In terms of work environment, okay naman. Mabait yung boss ko and maayos yung teammates ko.
When I am new in the company my salary was 23k then after 2.5 years I became a regular emplyee wuth 26k lang yung monthly salary ko (included na lahat ng allowances and bonuses except mid-year and year-end bonus). Then recently for my first salary increase as a regular, I received a 750 peso increase.
Honestly, nalungkot ako. For the workload, responsibilities, KPI accountability, and sleepless nights, parang hindi siya proportionate. Minsan napapaisip ako when I see posts here from people in similar roles earning much more.
For context, this is my first managerial role.
So now I’m questioning:
Am I being underpaid for a manager role?
Is it wrong to consider leaving kahit okay naman yung environment, pero parang hindi balanced yung workload and compensation?
I really need some advice.
