PF noob looking for support/control caster.

So after playing PF2E for 6-8 sessions, Ive been getting frustrated with my pixie psychic. My GM is setting up some stuff to pet me respec. I feel like because my wizard always goes nova, we can never go more than 1-2 encounters without retreating from the Abomination Vaults. Between that and the stupified condition from unleashed psyche, i feel like a worse wizard. I'd like to respec into something more supportive. We have a martial (not sure what class) a fire wizard, a bomb maker, and a cleric. Most consistently we have the cleric myself and the martial followed by the wizard. I generally like spontaneous casters, though Id be willing to try prepared. I was thinking maybe oracle or druid, bard feels like it might be interesting ability wise, but the flavor feels all wrong for the current character. Paladin is one of my favorite archetypes in gaming, but Im not sure how that would work with a pixie. Any help offered is appreciated.
