Last day advice

My gerbil Violet (3years old) is on her last days now, she has been to the vet twice now. First was two weeks ago for an eye issue and now also last week do to her breathing abnormaly.

The vet gave her antibotics and while she is still eating or drinking i know now its time to let her fall asleep.

She isn't getting better and spends most of her time sleeping, she isn't separering completly from her roommate Bamie but I know its her time soon and right now i feel its cruel to keep her here essentually for my sake.

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on what I can do to give her the best last day? before going to the vet most likely tomorrow for the final sleep. All she really wants to do is sleep, but I would still like to do something for her to make/keep her happy.❤️

It hurts to have to even have ask this as i'm not ready for her to go, but I know its most likely for the best, for her sake.
