Is the Sunken Shrine generally worth it if you don't plan on going for Robo Knight?

About to hit Chapter 4 with some friends (we've been stuck on Chapter 3 for awhile) and while I was planning on spending some time in Daunting Mountain after getting several towns I was just wondering if the Sunken Shrine was worthwhile?
