6 years together, no real intimacy, and now he says he’s not attracted to me.

Hi, burner account because my boyfriend uses Reddit. I (24F) have been with my boyfriend (26M) since I was 18. We were long distance for most of our relationship, and it was pretty rocky. Last year we finally moved in together, and I really thought that would fix a lot of our issues, especially our sex life. The problem is we basically never had one. Over the years, he never really tried to please me. There were maybe five failed attempts at going down on me, but aside from that, zero initiation, zero touching, zero effort. Meanwhile, I always tried to give him what he enjoyed (bj, hj, etc.) multiple times throughout the years. We’ve never had proper sex. He kept telling me, “Wait until we move in together, you’ll see what I’m going to do to you.” Well, we’ve been living together for a year now, and nothing changed. I’ve tried initiating several times. Every time it failed because he couldn’t stay hard, which led to uncomfortable conversations. Last week I tried again and got really emotional. He just said “yeah, sorry,” went to shower, and said we’d talk later. He fell asleep instead. When we finally talked, he told me he’s not really attracted to me anymore because I gained some weight this past year. He also said he prefers being alone and enjoys his alone time more than spending time with me. That conversation made me feel ugly, unwanted, and honestly repulsive. Now he says he’s “confused” and needs time to think. For the past few days, we’ve basically just been roommates. He says he still has feelings for me, just not as intense as they were a few years ago. I feel used. I spent years waiting for something that never came. He was my first serious relationship, and I was his first girlfriend. Part of me thinks maybe he just got used to being in this relationship, and that’s why he never left, even if his feelings faded a long time ago. He says he still has feelings for me, just not as intense as they were a few years ago. That makes me really confused. I don’t know if that’s normal in long-term relationships or if it’s a sign that something has been gone for a while. At the same time, I’m 24 and I want to explore my sexuality while I’m still young. I don’t want to look back years from now and regret not experiencing more. But if he isn’t willing to try new things, grow with me, or even fully want me, I don’t see myself staying. How do you know when it’s time to let go or when it’s worth fighting for? I really need outside perspective, because I feel like I'm going crazy.

TL;DR: I (24F) have been with my boyfriend (26M) for six years, mostly long distance. We finally moved in together a year ago, hoping it would fix our nonexistent sex life, but we’ve still never had proper sex, and he’s made almost no effort to please me despite me always trying for him. After another failed attempt at intimacy, he admitted he’s not really attracted to me anymore (partly because I gained some weight) and that he prefers being alone. Now he says he’s “confused” and has feelings for me, just not as strongly as before. I feel unwanted and used after waiting years for things to improve. I’m young and want to explore my sexuality, but I don’t know if this relationship is worth fighting for or if it’s time to let go.
