Netherlands Visa rejected

My Netherlands short stay visa was rejected.

I am an Indian passport holder and my application was rejected with the following reasons

1. justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided

2. there are reasonable doubts as to the reliability, as the authenticity of supporting documents submitted

3. there are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory

I am guessing 3 flaws in my application

1. I had sold some of my foreign assets 3 days prior to the appointment date -

(I had sold them as I needed to send some money home and also reinvest in gold in India)

2. The hotel booking was in my friend's name, although it said 2 beds and had a screenshot of me added as a fellow traveller in the website

3. Bank balance averaging about 1.5 lakhs

I had confirmed to and fro flight tickets, and all the rest of the documents

My salary is about 1.6 lakhs per month but my bank balance remains low as I invest about 60k per month

My investments are about 20 lakhs

Should I reapply in the beginning of April maintaining a balance of about 2.5 - 3 lakhs ( Jan, Feb and March) and explaining the sudden deposit and also make the hotel bookings in my name ?

Will this help or will the second application be useless.

My Visa was rejected on 27th Feb
