Body language is hard

I dunno if this is something other people experience, so I wanted to make this post and just ask it. Does anyone else freeze up when addressed and not know what proper body language to make a lot of the time? Like so many times I'm given a compliment or something, and I just default to giving this awkward ass thumbs up in response like SO much of the time. Knowing what to be physically doing in any given situation is just so not natural to me yknow?
