Soon to be ex-wife left 4 month old bay boy with a neighbor instead of asking me for help

So my soon to be ex wife was in a bind. And needed to pickup the kids from school. But could find the keys to the van that has the car seat attachment. She instead took her sedan that does not have a car seat attachment and asked the neighbor to watch the boy. But I was really hurt that she didn’t ask me. I live 10 min away. I could have come. Or I could have picked the kids up from school. But she asked a neighbor that I hardly knew.

I told her. Hey if this happened to me. Would you want me to call you for help. Or would you be ok if I asked a neighbor. She said that she would want to come help and that I shouldn’t call the neighbor. I am asking that to her because I am sure that if I do not call her that may feel violation in some way. Am I making too big a deal of this?
