Doctor Beanies Quest question (ACT 1 SPOILERS)

Hey, so I completed Act 1's extra chapter (The Throbbing Domain) and since I haven't gotten to any of the endpoints in Act 2, I've started to only get quest Item endpoints that are the Throbbing Domain. Will it always take the furthest point in the act it chooses?
