people who don’t like mascots are rude

if you don’t like mascots and openly talk about it around the mascots, you are just rude. the people in the costumes are just trying to do their job, you don’t have to interact with them, just keep walking. especially if you chose to go to a place that most likely has mascots, don’t complain about what you singed up for. they’re not pestering you and they are not there for your purposely make you upset, they’re there to make people happy, typically children. you don’t HAVE to like them, just don’t be open about it around them. it’s like saying “i hate cashiers” in front of a cashier. it’s insulting. you can have your own opinions, likes, and dislikes but don’t be rude about it when walking by them.
