Does it also hurt when you try to sleep?

I cut on my thighs, only cat scratches, using the blade from a pencil sharpener. The night after I cut is usually uncomfortable and painful on my legs. It might be from my pants rubbing against the wound? Either way I'm not sure and just want to make sure it's nothing I should be concerned about.
