feeling discouraged

i got waitlisted for communications major today, it's been my dream school for 10 years now

im a running start student, 4.0 gpa, maxed my activities list with advocacy in public policy and legislation and personal/academic projects, and a pretty solid essay proofread by as many professionals as i could find, even crammed in my chronic illness and sexuality for bonus points!

i just filled out the waitlist form but i hate waiting even longer. im committing to SU for marketing otherwise and im looking forward to it, but seeing what feels like everyone i know get in, even some who cheated off me in classes, feels like a bullet to the chest
