In 2012, I viewed the gold surge as noise and a classic bubble. It does not feel that way today, and for clarification I've never until last year been a gold bug. Never.

Question

So I felt in 2012,there was geopolitical uncertainty but we did not have the de dollarization push and all the political nonsense coming from the us government, while government debt was lower. Does anyone else sincerely think this new gold rise is nit a bubble, and is more of a permanent new flow? I may add in thsf safe haven status is important, but it's aldo to me seen as a move from the us dollar and is weirdly tied in with not only the middle east crisis, but prior to now, was hinting at a hedge against usd and market risk Tge usd move in the last few days in my view seems like a dollsr squeeze, which is the firet step to de dollarization. . Somethings hitting me differently now. I could argue private credit stress, and a belief thr fed will try to fix tbis by throwing more money at it fuels good rising, in addition to central bank buying. Tbis is far beyond retail speculation to me.
