Child with Special Needs - 11 Years old

Asking for a friend — he is not on Reddit.

He has an 11-year-old son (Indian) who is autistic. He is unable to attend a regular school and has some speech difficulties. The child is very active and interested in doing work, but he is not getting many opportunities. He currently attends a special needs school, but it is not very effective.

The parents would like their son to learn some practical skills. He is very good at understanding and working — I have seen this myself.
