Uncomfortably dating outside of education and income bracket

I’ve been really making an effort to to go on dates recently but every single woman I go out or match with are professionals , architects, financial officers, lawyers, while they have all been very nice people I feel very out of my depth with my long standing retail job and high school education, and don’t know how I would ever meet these people on there level when I can’t even understand the jobs they do intricately, I’d honestly prefer someone in my same income bracket tbh. Like how could I possibly relate to somebody like that??

I’ve met a gorgeous girl recently who is a web developer and she’s super interested in me and I really like her to but part of me what’s to call it off before it’s begun due to the income let’s just say “substantial income” difference .

How should I deal with with this situation and is this something other people find difficult?
