Who is Andres Gonzalez Quiroz aka "El Quitillo"?

I recently listened to a corrido sung by Chalino Sanchez called El Corrido del Quitillo or Esclava sellada and did a little research on who the corrido was about and it was about about Andres Gonzalez quiroz. Does anybody know the backstory on him, what organization was he involved with and what role did he play as part of the organization? I believe Chalino also has a corrido about his brother known as el Pitallon but I could be mistaken.
