Membrane Sweep, Second Time Mom @ 40 Weeks & 3CM Dilated

Hello!

So long story short, STM here, and we are anxiously waiting for our little one to arrive.

I’ve been 3.5CM dilated for about week or longer, and lost what I believe was mucus plug last Friday night. We went yesterday for our last doc appointment before my Due Date (today March 4th), and we decided to go ahead and do a membrane sweep since baby is showing 90th % on ultrasound. My BH/contractions have ramped up but not consistently enough for me to feel like there is progress there…

We have an induction date set for the 9th, and my first was induced the day after his due date.

Main question is : How successful was your sweep and has anyone else been in the same shoes as me? Excited to meet little man, but this mama needs some hope that it will be before the induction.
