Before the stat sheet warriors pull up Basketball Reference, watch the featured breakdown from Skap Attack first.

Now let’s talk facts:

A. Rings

Kobe has 5, which is greater than LeBron’s measly 4. Kobe went 5-2 in the Finals, while LeBron has a losing record of 4-6. Kobe has five championships in one franchise, and built a dynasty twice. That matters.

B. Defense

Kobe: 12 All-Defensive Team selections

LeBron: 6 All-Defensive Team selections

That’s DOUBLE.

Kobe took the toughest perimeter assignment night after night. First Team defense for years. LeBron at his peak was great defensively, but the longevity + consistency on that end clearly goes to Kobe.

C. All-Star Game MVPs

Kobe: 4

LeBron: 3

Big stage. Big moments. Kobe showed up.

D. Free Throw Percentage

Kobe > LeBron

Kobe was a career 84% free throw shooter, while LeBron is around 73.7%.

Late game. One possession. Who are you more confident putting on the line? I rest my case.

E. Scoring Titles

Kobe>LeBron

Kobe not only has 2 Scoring Titles to LeBron's 1, but both Scoring Titles are on ppg higher than any LeBron James season ever.

F. Mamba Mentality

This is where the conversation really separates.

LeBron has the physical gifts, no doubt. However, Kobe had something different. The mentality. The obsession. The willingness to take, and MAKE, the hardest shots when everything was on the line.

“Mamba Mentality” isn’t branding. It’s a mindset that translated to five rings and countless clutch moments.

LeBron may have the all-around numbers.

But basketball isn’t played on spreadsheets. When it comes to, Killer instinct, Defense, Championships, Clutch factor, Mental edge, and overall rings which is what players play for; Kobe UNDOUBTEDLY CLEARS!

Let the debate begin. 🐍

Kobe CLEARS LeBron, and it’s not close!
