Water boring dried in Faisal Town, what’s the solution?

Someone I know lives in Faisal Town, Islamabad, and their water boring has dried up. Has anyone here faced a similar issue recently?

Did you deepen the existing bore, or did you go for a completely new one? What worked better in your case, especially considering the current groundwater situation in the area?
