I feel like blocking is okay for this one issue. What do you think?

Unfortunately I have no video because I ran out of space and wasn’t able to save my replay. But on this weeks daily race b, we start the race, but the guy behind me starts way too close to me so he’s able to overtake me pretty much instantly. I feel like this isn’t fair to me, who never had a chance to see if I could be quicker than him properly. So I blocked him by just swerving to whichever side he’s trying to pass me on. This was all on the main straight before turn 1.

What sucks is this happens more often than I’d like it too. Every time I’m the victim, i try blocking the guy rapidly coming up on me before the race even really begins. Polyphony needs to fix the intervals in these daily races. Sometimes im the one starting too close to the guy ahead giving me a free instant overtake.
