Personal reflection on the state of the game in view of everything I read here.
The eternal in front of PVE vs PVP in game that announces from the beginning to be multi and set in the Assassin's War..
If it is true that a problem of this game is on the PVP is not well organized, does not give rise to faction versus faction missions to complete objectives, and is rather a happy mess
The grey problem is that funcom can't position itself on the PVP for fear of losing too many players... Without understanding that PVE players will stop anyway when their single-player campaign is over. The faction war is the DNA of the game.. the PVP is announced from the beginning as the final objective of the game .. but funcom did not know how to have a clear position on it.. and it is true that its PVE campaign, very engaging, contributed to this confusion: It should have included PVP elements from the beginning... Because it's normal that if it falls like a hair on the soup and completely anarchicly it creates such tension between players. Funcom must therefore organize its PVP into a classic faction system. With a spying system - counterintelligence - sabotage to stay in the lore and contract with the rights holders. And agree to create a DD PVE server for those who want it... The other DD servers as at the beginning. If the PVP is better organized and finally becomes fun, PVE players can come and have fun testing it... or not. Because in the end, on the current path, Continuing to follow what they read on this Reddit, funcom will just manage to make both communities always feel more and more betrayed and leave the game.
