Nurse here. If any caregiver needs to vent or wants some practical advice, I'm around.

Hey everyone. I posted here the other day and reading through all the responses really hit home for me. Seeing how many of you are carrying this incredibly heavy burden, often completely alone, just made me want to reach out.

I’m a nurse, and my experience with dementia spans both my shifts at work and my own family life at home. I definitely don't have a magic wand, but I know all too well how draining, confusing, and isolating the daily routine gets. I've picked up enough workarounds and coping strategies over the years that I actually put a short guide together recently just to organize my thoughts.

But honestly, the main reason I'm posting is just to offer some support. If you're stuck on how to handle a specific behavior, need tips for the day-to-day, or if you just need to rant to someone who won't judge and actually understands... feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM.
