Lance Question - Attack vs Affinity

Hey all.

So I have been crafting Gogma Dragon lances and I had rolled one with sharpness and a bunch of affinity (to a point where I nearly hit 45% affinity base without any jewels).

However, was told a balance of sharp, affinity and primarily attack was the way to go so I rolled for that. However, after doing that, I feel like my damage is less than when I had just used the high affinity lance. Am I missing something here? It seemed that in most scenarios, my affinity lance was outperforming my balanced Attack Lance on the same set of monsters.

I was wondering if others had input regarding this.
