Reflecting Sunlight
This is not a hydroponics question per se, but I'm hoping to find some people that have experimented with this already and could help me make a better decision.
I want to reflect sunlight down 10m (32ft). It's a north facing property with about 10m (32ft) high walls that gets 0 sunlight during winter in most spots in front of the wall.
The idea of reflecting sunlight has extensively been looked into for different applications but I can't seem to figure out the best case scenario for me.
I came to the conclusion my best bets are either white reflective paint, white mylar, brushed stainless steel and concave mirrors.
I don't want the place to look like it came out of a sci fi post apocalypse movie and I want to be able to look up without burning my eyes, as well as provide the sunlight the plants need in order to grow sun loving plants and actually have them ripen.
I think the best solution might be to get creative with the white reflective paint and set up white structures everywhere.
What are your opinions? Are there better solutions?
