Got the job...I think?
Went to an interview. Went great. Went to a second interview, met the team, also went great. Got a good offer but it's for a contract position.
I'm a bit bummed because I was looking for long term, full time work but Founder at the non-profit told me they don't have funding for my role until their 3rd quarter, which is when they could possibly hire me on full time (something that was not mentioned in first interview).
I know the job market is shit and I will probably take it because I have to but does anyone have any tips on how to not get screwed over in a contract position? I realize it'll cost later in taxes but anything else I should know? Or possibly how to negotiate add ons because of the type of employment?
