Not a single one of my players is proficient with a sword

I'm a master of a high level campaign, started from level 13 and now 14.

I love my players and I give them total freedom to create their characters, and they created some very lovely characters.

But none of 6 characters created is proficient with martial weapons, apart from the ranger that only uses crossbows.

This is not a problem, it just shocked me that I cannot give the classical magical sword as a loot because none of them would use it.

For the curious the team is: Ranger cleric Evocation wizard Glamour bard Warlock of the deep Abiuration wizard Celestial sorcerer

Am I the only one that has an abundance of casters at high level?
