Help this dinosaur new RN pls 🥲 Torn between PHC and PGH schedules

All About JOBS

Guys I need advice.

I’m a November 2025 board passer, so basically a new RN talaga 🥲 and I applied to Philippine Heart Center (PHC) and UP-PGH.

Good news: • I got shortlisted sa PHC and may interview schedule na • I also got scheduled for the Nursing Proficiency Exam sa PGH

Bad news: Nagkasabay yung Clinical Exam ng PHC and Nursing Proficiency Exam ng PGH 😭

Here are the schedules:

PHC March 9, 8 AM – Initial Exam March 9, 1 PM – Initial Interview March 10, 8 AM – Clinical Exam

PGH March 10, 7 AM – Nursing Proficiency Exam

One hour lang pagitan but realistically, hindi kaya because ang layo nila sa isa’t isa. I thought of taking PGH first then rushing to PHC, but parang impossible and sobrang risky if ma-late.

As a new RN, sobrang big deal for me kung saan ako magsisimula. I really like both hospitals. PHC is specialized and competitive, but PGH is also a dream training ground. I don’t want to burn bridges or miss a good opportunity this early in my career.

If you were in my position: Would you try to email one of them to request rescheduling? Or choose one and let go of the other? Which would you prioritize and why?

Please help this overthinking baby nurse 😭 Any advice is appreciated.
